1. Quit smoking, this will significantly reduce the rate of lung cancer.
2. Don’t start smoking.
3. Avoid places with cigarette smoke.
4. Avoid or wear protective equipment when it is necessary when entering a place with pollution or dust and smoke.
5. Obverse for dangerous signs that warn you to see a doctor.
6. Screening with a low-radiation chest x-ray machine once a year. If there are some risks such as having a history of being a heavy smoker and still smoking or already quit for more less than 15 years and are between 55-80 years old.
