NOTE: this post is not medical advice, it just exposes pricing and locations for treatment.

Testing in Bangkok

No resistance testing anywhere in Thailand at the time of this writing.

Testing in Chiang Mai

PrEP Clinic by CWC (Wellness Clinic):
2,000 baht test for MG alone, results in 24h
HCMC Clinic:
3,500 baht for STI-14 including MG, results in 3 days

Treatment Availability

Doxycycline: all pharmacies, cheap

Azithromycin: all pharmacies, cheap
Metronidazole: all pharmacies, cheap
Clarithromycin:
- Siam Pharmacy, Bangkok, 300 baht per 14-tablet box
- In Chiang Mai, probably Pharma Choice
Moxifloxacin:
Siam Pharmacy, Bangkok, 300–600 baht per 5-tablet box
- Pharma Choice, Chiang Mai, 500–700 baht per 5-tablet box
Sitafloxacin:
Siam Pharmacy, Bangkok, 1,280 baht per 10-tablet box (50 mg)
- J Jaroen Pharmacy, Bangkok, 1,100 baht per 10-tablet box (50 mg), next-day preorder
Minocycline: hospital prescription only, pharmacies do not have it
- Praram 9 Hospital: 8,000 baht for 14 days
- Ramathibodi Premium Clinic: 1,120 baht for 14 days
  (government hospital, might need to wait for appointment)
Pristinamycin:
Not available in Thailand, confirmed by several doctors, pharmacists, and hospital pharmacists

Prescriptions

No prescriptions needed for meds available in pharmacies

(Doxy, Azi, Moxi).

If the price of these 3 sounds steep, ask for “generics” or visit a different pharmacy.

Hospital pharmacies will not honor prescriptions from other doctors or hospitals.

If you want a specific medication, go to the hospital pharmacy to ask for availability and price before asking for a consultation.

Consultation Costs

These are only needed if you want prescription-only meds (Minocycline).

Other STI testing/clinics can still advise for much less.
