According to reports, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the government and the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, ensuring that business owners can access mental health and wellness resources free of charge.
On Friday (Sept. 27), Andrew Bayly, New Zealand's Minister for Small Business and Manufacturing, stated that business owners across the country are currently facing difficulties due to the challenging economic conditions.
The mental health resources mentioned include an online platform designed to support entrepreneurs' mental well-being, certified professionals who can offer counseling and therapy, and various services such as nutritional advice, leadership training, business consulting, and digital skills coaching.
Bayly also noted that in the past year alone, these resources were accessed more than 750,000 times.
