Bangkok, Thailand – Grab Thailand has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to accelerate Thailand’s tourism industry in 2026 through the “Amazing 5 Economy” strategy. As part of this collaboration, both organizations have introduced the “Amazing Thailand Grab Travel Pass,” a comprehensive package designed to enhance travel experiences by offering greater convenience and value for international visitors.
The package provides total discounts worth over THB 3,000, covering transportation, food delivery, and everyday essentials through the Grab application. In addition, Grab is extending travel convenience for visitors attending Thailand’s major cultural festivals by offering a 15% discount on ride-hailing services with the promo code “GRABFEST,” helping create a more seamless, cost-effective, and memorable travel experience.

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of TAT, stated that the agency aims to elevate Thailand’s image as a high-quality global tourism destination by adopting the concept of a platform economy. This approach integrates technology to connect the tourism ecosystem seamlessly under the “Amazing 5 Economy” strategy, encouraging year-round travel and distributing income across all sectors of the tourism industry.
She emphasized that this collaboration with Grab Thailand, a leading ride-hailing and food delivery platform, plays a crucial role in turning the strategy into reality. By utilizing big data and digital technologies, both parties aim to enhance strategic planning, improve tourism campaigns, and deliver more effective promotional activities.
A key highlight of this partnership is the launch of the Amazing Thailand Grab Travel Pass, specifically designed for international tourists, particularly digital-savvy travelers who are familiar with mobile platforms. Special focus is placed on the Chinese market, one of Thailand’s primary growth targets in 2026.
In addition to promotions via Grab’s application and media channels, TAT is amplifying awareness through both online and offline campaigns, including promotional booths at major tourist attractions and advertising within international airports. These efforts aim to expand global visibility and encourage more international travelers to visit Thailand.

Ms. Jantsuda Thanmanitayaut, Managing Director of Grab Thailand, revealed that Grab has piloted its Grab Travel Pass across seven Southeast Asian countries Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Thailand since mid-last year.
In Thailand, the package has seen continuous growth in popularity, with subscription rates increasing by 95%, particularly among tourists from China, South Korea, Singapore, and the United States.
Usage data also provides valuable insights into traveler behavior:
๐ Over 60% of users utilize transport-related benefits
๐ More than 25% use benefits across two or more services
This demonstrates the package’s effectiveness in encouraging tourists to explore destinations, enjoy Thai cuisine, and shop for local products more conveniently.
