International Medical Services (IMS)

International Medical Services (IMS) is a dedicated department at our hospital that caters to the needs of international patients from over 160 countries. We understand the challenges faced by overseas visitors and expatriates, such as language and cultural barriers, when seeking medical care in a foreign country. That's why our team of multi-lingual interpreters is available round-the-clock to provide assistance and ensure effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. 

IMS also operates its own International Clinics, where our doctors and nurses specialize in serving patients from around the world. We uphold excellent international medical standards and provide personalized service to meet the diverse needs of our international patient community. 

In addition to language support, IMS offers a range of services to facilitate a smooth and comfortable experience for international patients: 

• Translation Service: Our translators are proficient in 26 languages, including Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Burmese, Cebuano, Chaozhou, Danish, Dutch, English, Flemish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Khmer, Lao, Mandarin, Nepalese, Norwegian, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Tamil, Urdu, and Vietnamese. 

• Assistance with Health Insurance: We provide guidance and assistance for both international and Thai health insurance, ensuring that patients have the necessary coverage and can navigate the insurance process. 

• Liaison Service: We act as a liaison between embassies, international institutions, and organizations to facilitate communication and coordination of healthcare services. 

• Hotel Accommodation: We can assist with arranging preferential room rates at local hotels for patients and their accompanying family members. 

• Special Dietary Needs: Our hospital caters to special dietary requirements, including Western, Japanese, and Muslim food options, ensuring that patients' cultural and dietary preferences are accommodated. 

• Medical Evacuation and Repatriation: In the event of a medical emergency, our own Medical Evacuation Team is available for international and local evacuation. We also provide repatriation services, led by our team of qualified Aviation Specialists, to ensure the safe return of patients to their home countries. 

• Online Consultation: We offer free consultation and medical advice through the internet, allowing patients to seek initial guidance remotely and make informed decisions about their healthcare needs.
