TM30 Residence Notification Support for Foreigners in Thailand

What is the TM30?

Under Section 38 of the Immigration Act, the host, house owner or possessor of the dwelling, or the hotel, that accepts a foreigner must notify the Immigration Office within 24 hours of the foreigner's stay. For a house, apartment, rented home or hotel, this is done with Form TM.30.

Who must file the TM30?

The law places the duty on the host. The Immigration Office's published rules allow the notification to be made in person or by an authorised person, by registered mail, or online through Immigration's TM30 system.
