Diagnostic Excellence:

For diagnostic purposes, we administer trace amounts of radiopharmaceuticals, which emit radiation detected by a scanner. This helps us create detailed images of the body, allowing us to evaluate renal function, screen for cancer, assess metastasis, and diagnose brain dysfunctions like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. Our diagnostic procedures are safe, leaving no residual presence in the body.

SPECT/CT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography/Computed Tomography):

Our SPECT/CT combines SPECT and CT imaging techniques, providing enhanced accuracy in evaluating various organ functions. Bone scans using 99mTechnetium-methylene diphosphonate (99mTc -MDP) help identify bone abnormalities, while renal scans with 99mTc-MAG3 or 99mTc-DTPA assess renal function and kidney transplant health. We also use cardiac scans with 99mTc-MIBI or 201Tl chloride to evaluate cardiac health and diagnose myocardial infarction.

PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography):

Our PET/CT combines PET and CT imaging to detect organ abnormalities at the molecular level. We use radiopharmaceuticals such as 18F-FDG for cancer scans, 68Ga-PSMA for prostate cancer detection, and 18F-FDOPA for diagnosing brain dysfunctions like epilepsy.

Treatment and Relief:

In addition to diagnostic capabilities, our radiopharmaceuticals can be employed for certain cancer treatments. Iodine-131 (131I) is used to treat thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, and thyrotoxicosis, while Samarium-153 (153Sm) can relieve bone pain caused by metastatic cancer and improve patient survival.
