Tooth Whitening

Tooth Whitening

Complete service information and details

Description

The purpose of teeth whitening is to make intrinsically darkened teeth, such as the accumulation of colored substances in the dentin during tooth formation or the death of teeth, appear whiter.

Whitening oneself at home using a teeth-whitening solution with a low concentration, the treatment period will last between 7 and 14 days. This method does not immediately whiten teeth after coloring them. Patients must be patient and disciplined in their daily use of whitening trays.

For in-office teeth bleaching, a high-concentration teeth whitening solution is combined with LED light stimulation. Exceptional intensity and wavelength, the duration of treatment is 45-60 minutes. The teeth will be whitened immediately following the treatment, which is convenient and safe and is administered by a specialist dentist. This method is appropriate for those with limited time.

How long is its duration for whitening effect on teeth?
Teeth will remain white for one to two years, depending on oral hygiene and food consumed.
It is recommended to avoid smoking and drinking tea and coffee for optimal results.
The results of teeth whitening depend on the initial color of the teeth and the response to treatment, which varies from
individual to individual.

How do we maintain the whiteness of our teeth over time?

  1. Before bed and in the morning, you should brush your teeth and tongue to remove plaque and food stains. Brush your teeth thoroughly in each and every crevice.

  2. Drink water frequently to dilute the acid and base in the mouth following a meal. Every time you consume a colored beverage, it is recommended that you drink water or rinse your mouth to reduce the accumulation of stains on your teeth.

  3. Use a teeth-whitening kit at home to maintain long-lasting whiteness, teeth whitening treatments should be repeated one to two times per month.

Zoom (In-office teeth whitening clinic)

ZOOM is a system for dentist-administered in-office teeth whitening using intense LED light technology. It accelerates the whitening reaction to effectively remove surface and dentin stains without eroding dentin and natural tooth structure or destroying tooth enamel. Zoom is an efficient, safe, and effective method for whitening teeth under the supervision of a dentist.

The dentist examines the condition and color of the teeth to determine whether they are suitable for ZOOM whitening. Upon evaluation, teeth whitening is possible. If necessary, your dentist will perform a dental exam, scaling, and polishing to enhance the effectiveness of the whitening solution. The dentist will compare the shade of the patient's teeth prior to treatment, once the teeth are prepared. To prevent exposure to the whitening solution, patients will be given light-blocking glasses, cheek, tongue, and lip protectors, and gums and soft tissues in the mouth will be covered. Then, the teeth-whitening solution, which is a relatively transparent liquid, is applied to the teeth's surface. Then, shine an intense LED light onto the teeth to activate the whitening solution and remove surface and dentin stains quickly and effectively. In each teeth whitening session, the solution will be changed and the light will be exposed for two to four cycles, each lasting 15 minutes, for a total of 45 to 60 minutes.

Home Bleaching (Self-whitening at home)

It takes 7-14 days to whiten teeth at home with a low-concentration whitening solution. This method does not whiten teeth immediately after coloring. Patients must be patient and disciplined in their daily use of whitening trays. The dentist will take an impression of the patient's mouth to create a customized whitening tray and provide instructions on how to use the tray and whitening solution. The patient must wear the upper and lower whitening trays according to the dentist's instructions. Should be performed continuously for at least 7 to 14 days for optimal results.
