HAIR TRANSPLANT

HAIR TRANSPLANT

Complete service information and details

Description

Pmed Clinic does offer hair transplant procedures, including FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), which is a minimally invasive technique for harvesting hair follicles from a donor site and transplanting them to a thinning or balding area of the scalp.

During a FUE hair transplant, the surgeon will extract individual hair follicles from the donor site, which is typically located on the back or sides of the head. The transplanted follicles will grow and produce hair in the same manner as the adjacent follicles. FUE hair transplants are frequently preferred over traditional hair transplant techniques because they involve less disfigurement and a more rapid recovery. In addition, they enable more precise selection and placement of individual hair follicles, resulting in a more natural-looking result.

In this method of hair transplantation, the doctor shaves the hair in the desired area and injects an anaesthetic around the scalp prior to applying a special device. Create a hair clump clump by clump. The physician will then implant in the problematic location. This FUE hair transplant may take four to eight hours, depending on the number of grafts from which new hair will develop. Normal adverse effects following FUE hair transplant surgery include scalp soreness. Patients may require two to five days of recuperation after surgery before resuming normal daily activities. After planting the hair for two to three weeks, the transplanted hair will progressively grow. In 6-9 months, the body will produce new hair at a rate of about 60%, after which the hair will regenerate.
