The anesthesiology department is essential to surgical procedures. We have a staff of anesthesiologists to take care of patients throughout the surgery. Anesthesiologists, nurse anesthesiologists, recovery room nurses, and assistants are responsible for monitoring the patient's systems during surgery, including the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, brain system, renal system, and urine system.  

The anesthesiologist team will make sure the patient is sleeping, delivering pain medications and muscle relaxants so that the surgeon can execute the surgery smoothly. In order to ensure the safety of our patients, our anesthesiologists must complete training and continued education.  

 

Anesthesiologists will take care of patients in 3 phases:  

 

Preoperative stage: since surgery and anesthesia affect the patient's body, it is crucial that the anesthesiologist caring for the patient has a thorough understanding of the patient's medical history, medication use, and other pertinent health information. of the sufferer After that, the anesthesiology team will process the information to make a joint decision between the patient and the medical team in selecting anesthesia and laboratory decision making.  

 

During the procedure: the anesthesiologist is responsible for the patient during the operation in delivering proper anesthetic and monitoring changes in essential organs such as heartbeat, blood pressure, breathing, etc. body temperature, replenishment of blood and fluid lost during surgery.   

 

After surgery: the anesthesiologist and team will continue to care for the patient in the recovery room in order to avoid or treat complications and alleviate discomfort.
