Cardiovascular Center

The Cardiovascular Center, also known as the Vichaivej Heart Center, is a comprehensive facility that provides 24/7 services for a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, including both routine and emergency heart conditions. The center is led by a specialist in cardiovascular disease, Dr. Wattana Boonsom, Director of the Heart Center of the Vichaivej Hospital Group. 

Services Provided: 

• Preventive Care: Focuses on heart disease prevention through lifestyle modifications, screenings, and early diagnosis. 

• Diagnosis: Various diagnostic tests and examinations are conducted such as EKG, Holter monitor, Echocardiography, and Exercise Stress Test. 

• Treatment: Medical and surgical treatments are offered, including drug therapy, cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, Automated Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (AICD), Intra Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and electrical ablation. 

• Surgery: Cardiovascular surgeries, such as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), heart valve repair/replacement surgery, and congenital heart disease correction surgery are performed. 

• Rehabilitation: Post-operative and cardiac rehabilitation programs are available to help patients recover and improve their quality of life. 

• 24/7 Emergency Services: Round-the-clock emergency cardiac care is available, with ambulance services equipped for cardiac emergencies.
