Hospitalization Admission Guide

When you or your loved ones require hospitalization, we at World Med Center are dedicated to making the admission process as smooth and comfortable as possible. Here's a guide to help you understand the steps involved in the admission process: 

 

1. Arrival and Registration: 

  

The admitting section is conveniently located on the ground floor main lobby near the hospital entrance. 

Our knowledgeable admitting staff or billing officer will be there to welcome you and explain the admission details and procedures. 

You or your relative will be required to read and sign a consent form, which is a necessary step for your admission. 

  

2. Assistance to Your Room: 

  

Once the necessary paperwork is completed, one of our staff nurses will be available to assist you to your hospital room. 

Your comfort and well-being are our top priorities, and our team is here to ensure you settle in comfortably. 

  

3. Emergency Admission: 

  

In case of an emergency, admission is arranged directly through our emergency room. 

Our dedicated emergency room staff will assist your family members and guide them to the registration area for initial interviews and admission procedures. 

If you have a valid travel or medical insurance that can cover your medical expenses, please inform the ER Nurse and admitting staff immediately. Your relative will then be directed to the insurance office for verification of your insurance policy coverage related to your hospitalization. 

  

4. Packing Essentials: 

  

We recommend bringing only personal essentials to make your hospital stay more comfortable, such as towels and slippers. 

Basic toiletries are readily available in your room for your convenience. 

However, we advise against bringing valuable items that are unnecessary for your confinement, such as jewelry or excessive cash. Please note that World Med Center will not be liable for any loss of your valuables.

World Med Center ensures a smooth admission process with welcoming staff to assist with registration and room allocation. Emergency admissions are expedited through the ER. Patients are advised to bring essentials but exclude valuables. Staff are available for any inquiries to prioritize patient comfort and care.
