Bangkok Hospital Group in Phuket Opens the “Bangkok-Phuket Cancer Institute,” Strengthening Southern Thailand’s Comprehensive Cancer Care Network

Phuket, Thailand – Bangkok Hospital Group in Phuket officially inaugurated the Bangkok-Phuket Cancer Institute at Bangkok Hospital Phuket, marking a significant milestone in advancing comprehensive cancer care under the “Care Beyond Cure” philosophy. The institute integrates the expertise and capabilities of Bangkok Hospital Phuket, Bangkok Hospital Siriroj, and Dibuk Hospital into a unified and integrated cancer care network for international patients.
The inauguration ceremony was officiated by Mr.Suvit Pansangiam, Vice Governor of Phuket, and attended by Dr. Poramaporn Prasarttong-Osoth, M.D., President of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (BDMS), Dr. Kongkiat Kespechara Chief Executive Officer of Group 6, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (BDMS) together with BDMS executives, representatives from foreign consulates, medical partners, members of the media, and distinguished guests. The event underscored another important milestone in cancer care ecosystem.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Art Hiranyakas, M.D., PhD., Director of Bangkok-Phuket Cancer Institute and Bangkok-Phuket Colorectal Disease Institute, presented the institute’s vision and capabilities. He stated that the Bangkok-Phuket Cancer Institute is guided by the “Care Beyond Cure” philosophy, emphasizing comprehensive, patient-centered care throughout every stage of the cancer treatment journey.
