ArokaGO, Thailand’s leading medical and wellness tourism platform, proudly joined forces to support and organize a panel discussion under the theme “Exploring the Trends, Technology, and Innovation in Aesthetics & Medical Beauty” at COSMOTALKS 2025. The event was held on June 26, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. COSMOTALKS serves as a vital platform where leading figures from the beauty and wellness industries gather to share insights, forecast trends, and explore sustainable growth opportunities in the sector.

The distinguished panel featured Asst. Prof. Dr. Kulabutr Komenkul, Co-Founders of ArokaGO (www.arokago.com) and Executive Committee Member of the Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association, who served as the moderator. Joining him were Dr.Beam — Ascha Thangpattanakul, Founder and Medical Director of The VOGUE Clinic, and Mr. Sittichai Kaewsuriyan (Dash), Sales Manager at Aztech Innova Co., Ltd. The session covered a range of key topics reflecting the dynamic transformation currently shaping the aesthetics and medical beauty landscape.

One of the central discussions highlighted the industry’s shift from a “problem or quick-fixing” approach towards “sustainable rejuvenation,” reflecting a deeper change in consumer behavior worldwide. Modern consumers are increasingly seeking beauty solutions that align with holistic health and long-term well-being, rather than focusing solely on short-term aesthetic outcomes. Dr. Beam shared her clinical experience, noting that patients today are more conscious of maintaining balance between physical appearance and overall health. Meanwhile, Mr. Sittichai emphasized the post-pandemic market shift towards innovation and niche-driven technologies that cater to specific patient needs.

Another focal point of the discussion was the growing importance of sustainability, or ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), which is now a global concern. Though it remains a challenge in the Asian market, the panelists agreed that the beauty industry must place greater emphasis on minimizing environmental impact. This includes adopting eco-friendly, biodegradable products, reducing waste, and designing longer-lasting, energy-efficient medical devices. Such practices not only demonstrate corporate responsibility but also enhance brand value and consumer trust in the long run.

The panel also addressed the evolving behavior of today’s savvy consumers who make faster, more informed decisions, leading to what many describe as a “price war” in the beauty market. The speakers warned that an over-reliance on price competition could undermine both service quality and long-term brand positioning. Instead, businesses are encouraged to focus on differentiation through innovation, value-driven communication, and sustainable outcomes. Mr. Sittichai highlighted the need to shift away from discount-driven strategies by investing in deeper technologies such as pelvic health solutions and sexual wellness innovations, while Dr. BeaM stressed the importance of building trust and delivering measurable, lasting results.

In closing, the panelists offered their visions for the future of the aesthetics and wellness industry, which they believe will increasingly center around “Longevity” — a holistic approach to preventive health, cellular rejuvenation, and personalized wellness programs. Emerging trends include AI-integrated healthcare, home-use devices, hormone health management, and the growing demand for technologies that enhance both physical and mental well-being. These developments are closely aligned with consumer expectations for a better quality of life and proactive health management.

As a strong advocate for advancing Thailand’s position as a regional hub for medical and wellness tourism, ArokaGO reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with partners in the aesthetics and wellness industries. The company aims to drive sustainable growth through innovation that not only meets beauty and health needs but also improves people's overall quality of life in meaningful ways.
