Asst. Prof. Dr. Kulabutr Komenkul, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of ArokaGO, and Executive Committee Member of the Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association, stated that this update goes beyond a simple technological upgrade. Instead, it lays a new “digital infrastructure” for Thailand’s Medical & Wellness Tourism industry.
“ArokaGO Version 2.0 has been designed based on a deep understanding of real international patient journeys—from searching for information, asking questions, and reading real experiences, to making informed decisions when choosing healthcare providers. Our goal is to reduce information uncertainty and strengthen global confidence in Thailand’s healthcare services,” he explained.
Dr. Kulabutr noted that the platform upgrade took place during 17–19 December 2025, marking a comprehensive system overhaul covering both user and healthcare provider sides. During this period, certain system updates may have occurred intermittently.
“We believe that a medical platform should not be merely a directory of hospitals, clinics, wellness centers, or healthcare facilities. It must function as a complete ecosystem that systematically connects information, knowledge, experiences, and decision-making,” he added.
One of the key highlights of Version 2.0 is the launch of ArokaGO Community, a webboard community specifically developed for the medical and wellness tourism industry.

“ArokaGO Community is not a typical webboard. It is a trusted knowledge and experience hub where international patients can ask questions, read real experiences, and securely connect with verified healthcare providers on the platform,” Dr. Kulabutr said.
The platform enables users to exchange information on treatments, review healthcare facilities, consult about medical procedures, and inquire about travel arrangements for medical care in Thailand, while supporting users from multiple countries.
Dr. Kulabutr further explained that ArokaGO Community has been designed as a comprehensive webboard system featuring discussion threads, Q&A functions, content categorization by treatment types, and direct links to verified healthcare provider profiles.
“Our objective is to transform user-generated content and experiential insights into valuable information—benefiting both patients and providers—and ultimately turning it into real business opportunities,” he noted.
In addition, the platform incorporates robust content quality control and credibility management systems to prevent misinformation and ensure high standards of data security.
Regarding UX/UI design, Dr. Kulabutr emphasized that the ArokaGO development team prioritized simplicity, professionalism, and trust core principles for any healthcare platform.
“International patients are not just looking for information; they are seeking confidence. Every design element of ArokaGO Community is therefore clean, reliable, and globally accessible,” he said.
The platform supports both desktop and mobile usage, adopts premium medical and wellness design aesthetics, and is fully accessible to users worldwide.
Another major advancement in ArokaGO Version 2.0 is the integration of AI Native & Intelligent Operations at a structural level.
“We utilize AI to support content screening, moderation, data organization, semantic search, and intelligent recommendations—matching patients with the most suitable healthcare providers,” Dr. Kulabutr explained.
The system also supports real-time notifications and more than 13 languages to accommodate patients from around the world.
