Rayong, Thailand — BDMS Wellness Clinic, the preventive healthcare center under Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS), has partnered with Bangkok Rayong Hospital to officially open “RoyalLife Wellness Clinic Rayong”, a new preventive wellness center designed to serve the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The launch marks the 22nd anniversary of Bangkok Rayong Hospital and represents a major milestone in expanding Thailand’s nationwide Wellness Hub network.

The newly opened center becomes the 12th branch of BDMS Wellness Clinic and is specifically designed to serve working-age individuals, addressing prevalent health concerns such as insomnia and stress, which are major risk factors for chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The clinic offers holistic preventive healthcare supported by a specialized team of preventive medicine physicians and multidisciplinary experts.

The opening ceremony was presided over by the President of the Rayong Provincial Administrative Organization, who congratulated BDMS on extending high-quality wellness services to the people of Rayong. The event also featured a scientific wellness talk focusing on preventive healthcare principles, led by medical specialists from BDMS Wellness Clinic and Bangkok Rayong Hospital.

During the ceremony, provincial leadership emphasized that RoyalLife Wellness Clinic Rayong is not only an important enhancement to local healthcare standards but also a model of successful public–private collaboration. This cooperation supports both community well-being and the long-term economic development of Rayong and neighboring provinces within the EEC zone.

Executives from BDMS Wellness Clinic highlighted the growing importance of preventive healthcare in an aging global society. They noted that good health is no longer defined solely by lifespan, but by extending one’s “health span”—the number of years a person remains healthy and active. The clinic promotes Lifestyle Medicine, a science-based approach centered on sustainable health foundations through behavioral change. Core recommendations include maintaining a healthy body weight, balanced nutrition, regular exercise, sufficient sleep, avoiding tobacco and alcohol, reducing exposure to PM2.5 pollution, and managing stress. Adopting small daily habits, they noted, can deliver profound long-term health benefits, slow aging, and reduce the risk of chronic disease.

BDMS Wellness Clinic reiterated its mission to expand Thailand’s Wellness Hub network and strengthen the country’s position as a regional leader in wellness and longevity. The goal is to create a strong, sustainable health community that empowers individuals to live longer, healthier lives.

Bangkok Rayong Hospital added that more than 40% of working-age individuals currently suffer from sleep problems or poor sleep quality, largely due to stress and environmental factors—especially in industrial provinces such as Rayong. Poor sleep, physicians warned, not only affects concentration and work performance but also increases the risk of hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and depression. High-quality sleep, they stressed, is a natural form of longevity medicine that repairs, restores, and protects the body sustainably.

RoyalLife Wellness Clinic Rayong is positioned as the “Eastern Wellness Hub”, serving as a flagship center for preventive and restorative health in the region. The initiative aims to rebrand Rayong as a “City of Health and Sustainability” by integrating wellness services with hotels, resorts, nature-based tourism, and rejuvenation programs—all within a single destination. The center elevates healthcare standards from treatment-focused services to proactive, preventive care centered on enhancing long-term quality of life.

Preventive medicine advancements showcased at the event included the ability to detect disease risk at the cellular level through Epigenetic testing. A special talk titled “Personalized Health from DNA to Personalized Vitamins” introduced the community to cutting-edge health assessments and customized supplementation plans designed to support long-term wellness.

These developments reflect BDMS’s broader mission to build a “Sustainable Wellness Society”, combining medical innovation with evidence-based wellness practices. RoyalLife Wellness Clinic Rayong is positioned not only as a new wellness clinic but as a comprehensive health ecosystem offering prevention, screening, treatment, recovery, and long-term health enhancement—an emerging wellness and longevity destination for Thailand’s Eastern region and a key contributor to the EEC’s forward-looking development.

BDMS Wellness Clinic and RoyalLife Wellness Clinic now operate multiple branches across major provinces including Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Mai, Chanthaburi, and Udon Thani. The new Rayong branch continues BDMS’s commitment to delivering world-class preventive healthcare through services such as sleep and stress evaluation, hormone and micronutrient balance assessment, immune system analysis, antioxidant level testing, body composition analysis, and personalized wellness planning guided by preventive medicine experts.

BDMS Wellness Clinic and RoyalLife Wellness Clinic Rayong reaffirm their commitment to helping the people of Rayong and all Thais achieve sustainable well-being and enjoy healthier, longer, and more fulfilling lives through the principles of Lifestyle Medicine and Preventive Medicine.
