TAT has extended the concept of a &ldquo;Grand Celebration&rdquo; by launching this initiative in collaboration with the Subcommittee for the Tourism Industry under the National Soft Power Development Committee. The &quot;Be My Guest&quot; project promotes tourism by inviting global creators to experience and share authentic Thai culture through digital content. Their stories, distributed across online platforms, act as a magnet to attract tourists, strengthen Thailand&rsquo;s image under the Amazing Thailand brand, and instill confidence in international travelers.

The campaign integrates Celebrity Marketing, featuring two key groups: international influencers and soft power leaders from various sectors. These individuals will share their travel experiences on their social media platforms, adapting content to the languages and cultures of their target audiences. Content will also be distributed through regional platforms such as Weibo, Douyin, and local news agencies to enhance Thailand&#39;s positive image.

The influencer group includes 10 international influencers from countries such as the UAE, Australia, Spain, the United States, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, paired with 10 Thai influencers. Together, they will embark on travel missions to create engaging tourism content.

Prominent figures from around the world &mdash; including thought leaders, business figures, and international personalities &mdash; are also participating. These individuals have significant influence on global travelers&rsquo; decision-making and will take part in the Be My Guest Fam Trip from June 26 to July 1, 2025. They will also attend the Amazing Thailand Saneh Thai Gala Night on June 30, one of the year&rsquo;s grandest tourism events.

Currently, the number of cancer patients continues to rise, especially among younger individuals. Among women, the two most common types of cancer are:

<h3>1. <a href="https://www.arokago.com/health-library/cervical-cancer/symptoms">Cervical Cancer</a> (Ranked 2nd Most Common in Women)</h3>

This cancer is largely caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), with strains 16 and 18 being the most high-risk. The virus can be transmitted through various forms of contact, including sexual activity, shared use of sex toys, and even public restroom facilities.

There are two main ways to prevent cervical cancer:

- Vaccination: Today, the 9-valent HPV vaccine can prevent up to 95% of cervical cancer cases. It&rsquo;s recommended for anyone aged 9 and above, regardless of gender, as it also helps prevent other types of cancers.

- Cervical Cancer Screening: Screening has become more accessible and can now be done at home. It&rsquo;s quick, painless, and takes only about 5 minutes. Women aged 25 and older are encouraged to get screened. Those under 25 who are sexually active should get screened 3 years after their first sexual experience.

<h3>2. <a href="https://www.arokago.com/health-library/breast-cancer/symptoms">Breast Cancer</a> (Ranked 1st Most Common in Women)</h3>

Breast cancer doesn&rsquo;t have a definitive cause, but several risk factors have been identified &mdash; some avoidable and some unavoidable.

Unavoidable risk factors:

- Family history of breast or ovarian cancer

- Gender

- Aging

Avoidable risk factors:

- Smoking and alcohol consumption

- Obesity

- Long-term use of birth control pills due to prolonged hormone intake

- Having few or no children

To reduce the risk of breast cancer, the American Cancer Society recommends:

- Maintaining a healthy weight

- Exercising and staying physically active

- Reducing or avoiding alcohol

- Breastfeeding

Regular screening is also important. Starting at age 20, women should begin self-examinations. From age 35, clinical screenings using ultrasound and mammograms are advised &mdash; don&rsquo;t wait for symptoms to appear.

Both types of cancer have preventable risks. While they may not be entirely avoidable, reducing the risk is far better than taking no preventive action at all.

Despite extended global lifespans, the number of years people live in good health has not increased at the same rate. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the average global lifespan increased from 66.8 years in 2000 to 73.4 years in 2019, thanks to advances in medical treatment and healthcare access. However, the average health span&mdash;meaning years lived in good health without illness or disability&mdash;remains at just 63.7 years, indicating that many people spend over a decade of their lives in poor health.

This health gap is similarly present in Saudi Arabia. WHO&rsquo;s 2019 data shows that the average lifespan in Saudi Arabia is 74.3 years, while the health span is only 64 years, meaning that many people live with chronic illness for approximately 10.3 years before the end of life.

A major cause of this issue is the rise of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), which typically increase with age. As the world transitions into an aging society, NCDs have emerged as a global silent threat. WHO reported in 2022 that over 45 million people worldwide died from NCDs, highlighting a challenge faced by all nations. In Saudi Arabia, the situation is equally concerning, with 73% of annual deaths&mdash;approximately 105,200 lives or 12 people every hour&mdash;attributed to NCDs. The leading causes include cardiovascular diseases, cancer, chronic respiratory conditions, and diabetes.

Another pressing issue in Saudi Arabia is the high prevalence of overweight and obesity. WHO&rsquo;s 2022 report indicated that over 73% of the population, or around 25 million people, are overweight or obese. This condition is directly linked to the development of multiple NCDs and increases the risk of severe illness or death, particularly during health crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Research shows that people with high blood pressure face double the risk, while those with heart disease or diabetes face triple the risk. Individuals with a history of stroke face four times the risk, and those with obesity have a sevenfold increased risk of death compared to the general population.
