BANGKOK - H.E.A.T. Academy (Health Education & Academics Thailand) is marking a decade of advancing anti aging and longevity medicine with the 10th H.E.A.T. International Congress Wellness Management, bringing together medical experts, researchers, healthcare professionals and wellness industry leaders in Bangkok from August 20 - 22, 2026.
Held under the theme “Self-Mastery of Longevity and Wellness,” the three day international congress will take place at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, following a series of pre-congress workshops on August 18 - 19. More than 60 in-depth sessions are scheduled across the event, highlighting Thailand’s growing capabilities and ambitions to strengthen its position as a global wellness hub.
The 10th anniversary represents a significant milestone for H.E.A.T. Academy and its international academic congress, which has focused on advancing and sharing knowledge in anti-aging and longevity medicine over the past decade.
Guided by its philosophy “Knowledge Leads the Way,” the congress promotes the view that sustainable health is not achieved through medical treatment alone, but can also be shaped by everyday lifestyle choices and preventive health management.
The event aims to encourage a shift in healthcare perspectives from treating illness after it occurs toward proactive strategies designed to extend both lifespan and healthspan. Topics will span hormone optimization, metabolic restoration, aesthetics and mental well-being, bringing multiple disciplines together to translate medical and scientific knowledge into practical approaches to healthier living.
Patana Teng-Umnuay, Ph.D., MD Founder and President of H.E.A.T. Academy and an expert in nutraceuticals, stem-cell biology and anti-aging medicine, will preside over the opening ceremony and deliver presentations on “Yin and Yang of Medicine” and “The Hidden Hunger: How to Mastering Your Dietary Choices.”
The international speaker lineup also includes Dr. David A. Macklin, Director of Medcan Weight Management in Canada, who will present “Quality Weight Loss: Fat Loss and Muscle Preservation with Weekly GLP-1RAs.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Steen Larsen from the University of Copenhagen will address the science behind cellular health and healthy aging in “Mitochondria, Micronutrients and Longevity: The Role of Selenium and Coenzyme Q10.”
Together with other specialists from Thailand and overseas, the speakers will contribute to more than 60 sessions covering emerging developments across longevity medicine, preventive healthcare, nutrition, metabolic health, regenerative medicine and wellness.
A key feature of this year’s congress is its integration of medical science with business and emerging wellness technologies.
Sessions will explore topics ranging from transforming traditional spa businesses into onsen-inspired wellness concepts to the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in personalized nutrition, alongside new developments in aesthetic and regenerative medicine.
The congress will also feature an academic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Mahidol University and private-sector partners to support the development and broader dissemination of autologous fibroblast innovation.
Another major component is the AgeMed Asia training program, which focuses on personalized medicine by integrating genetic, environmental and lifestyle information. The approach is designed to provide physicians and pharmacists with more comprehensive information to support individualized and precise healthcare decisions.
Beyond lectures and specialist workshops, the congress will offer participants a range of experiential wellness activities.
On the morning of August 21, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in “A Free Ice Bath Experience,” introducing cold exposure as part of a recovery-focused wellness experience.
That evening, the congress will host the “Self-Mastery of Happiness” Cocktail Dinner Party, featuring a mini-concert by Intouch Rerkyen and popular Thai band ETC.
Throughout the event, an exhibition area will showcase products and technologies across the medical and wellness sectors, including medical equipment, regenerative medicine and cell therapy innovations, functional and genomic laboratory testing, and energy-based aesthetic devices.
Participants will also have access to selected on-site health assessments, demonstrations and special offers from participating exhibitors.
As H.E.A.T. Academy celebrates the 10th anniversary of its international congress, the 2026 event reflects the expanding role of longevity science within the broader healthcare and wellness ecosystem.
By bringing together medical professionals, scientists, academics, entrepreneurs and wellness industry stakeholders, the 10th H.E.A.T. International Congress Wellness Management aims to create a platform where scientific knowledge, clinical practice, technology and business innovation can intersect.
The congress also underscores Thailand’s broader potential to build on its healthcare expertise, wellness infrastructure and growing longevity ecosystem as the country seeks to strengthen its position as a leading destination for health and wellness in Asia and on the global stage.
