Shanghai, China  – Executives from PCL Holding Public Company Limited (PCL Holding), led by Dr. Thitipong Nuntaphiwat, Chief Operating Officer (COO), together with representatives from the Thai-Chinese Institute of Media and Business (TCIMB) and the Thai-Chinese Journalists Association, visited AGIBOT Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, one of China's leading developers of humanoid robots and embodied artificial intelligence (Embodied AI).

The delegation included Dr. Suebpong Prabyai, President of the Council of the Thai-Chinese Institute of Media and Business, Ms. Kantharose Harnchaipibulkul, Director of the Institute, and Ms. Wilawan Wawiwitthayakul, representative of the Thai-Chinese Journalists Association.

The study visit provided an opportunity for the Thai delegation to gain insights into China's vision and strategic direction in intelligent robotics development, a sector that is rapidly gaining global recognition. The delegation also witnessed demonstrations of humanoid robots capable of performing tasks across various industries, including manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, service operations, and elderly care.

During the visit, AGIBOT showcased several of its key technologies, including industrial humanoid robots, advanced AI systems for learning and decision-making, and "Genie Sim 3.0," an intelligent simulation platform powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). The platform creates highly realistic virtual environments for robot training and capability development, helping reduce both research and development costs and deployment timelines.

The delegation also observed demonstrations of intelligent robots capable of learning from real-world environments, understanding human language instructions, and operating autonomously. The presentations highlighted China's rapid progress in integrating artificial intelligence with automation and smart manufacturing technologies.

Dr. Suebpong Prabyai, President of the Council of the Thai-Chinese Institute of Media and Business, said:

"The development of AI and humanoid robotics is becoming one of the key drivers of the new global economy. This visit has provided valuable insights into China's remarkable technological advancement and innovation capabilities. Thailand should accelerate cooperation in education, research, and human capital development to prepare for the technological transformation of the future."

Dr. Thitipong Nantapiwat, Chief Operating Officer of PCL Holding, emphasized that:

"Artificial Intelligence and Robotics will play an increasingly important role in healthcare, industrial productivity, organizational management, and strengthening the competitiveness of Thai businesses in the digital economy."

Meanwhile, Ms. Kantharose Harnchaipibulkul, Director of the Thai-Chinese Institute of Media and Business, noted that:

"Learning from China's leading technology organizations will greatly benefit the development of academic programs, international collaboration networks, and the preparation of Thai professionals to keep pace with future technological changes."

The visit marks another significant milestone in strengthening Thailand-China cooperation in technology, innovation, education, and human resource development. The collaboration is expected to create new opportunities for knowledge exchange and business development in future industries, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, and smart technologies.

As AI and humanoid robotics continue to reshape industries worldwide, the exchange of expertise between Thailand and China is expected to contribute to regional innovation ecosystems and support the development of next-generation industries in both countries.
