Bangkok, 18 November 2025 — The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collaboration with the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA), welcomed a group of 29 travelers with mobility disabilities from Taiwan under the “Taiwan Accessible Tourism” initiative. The group, consisting of employees from FLOW, Inc., arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 11:30 a.m. from Taoyuan, Taiwan.

The delegation is participating in a five-day pilot inspection trip titled “Fun Travel: Bangkok–Ayutthaya 5 Days,” taking place from 18–22 November 2025. The program covers key destinations in Bangkok and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and underscores Thailand’s commitment to promoting its image as a “Tourism for All” destination, ensuring equal access for all travelers regardless of age or physical ability. It also marks an important milestone in officially expanding the Accessible Tourism market for Taiwanese visitors.
TAT stated that the primary objective of this initiative is to strengthen Thailand’s reputation as an inclusive and accessible tourism destination aligned with international principles of universal tourism. The Accessible Tourism segment from Taiwan is considered high-potential, with strong spending power and a tendency to travel with family members or companions. With appropriate accessibility features in tourism businesses and attractions, this segment is highly motivated to choose Thailand as a preferred destination.
The group’s visit serves as FLOW, Inc.’s annual company reward trip. The company, recognized as Taiwan’s first BIM (Building Information Modeling) Social Enterprise, operates in BIM simulation and cloud technology to generate income and create employment opportunities for people with disabilities. FLOW, Inc. is currently one of Taiwan’s three largest integrated BIM service providers, with offices in Taiwan and Japan.

During the five-day trip, the group will explore major attractions along the Bangkok–Ayutthaya route, including Wat Arun Ratchawararam, Asiatique The Riverfront, and a nighttime cruise along the Chao Phraya River. In Ayutthaya, the itinerary includes visits to Wat Mahathat and Sri Ayutthaya Lion Park, a team-building activity featuring an archaeological treasure hunt at Wat Phra Si Sanphet, and shopping before returning to Taiwan.
Thailand remains one of the top six travel destinations for Taiwanese tourists. From 1 January to 12 November 2025, the country welcomed 852,201 Taiwanese visitors, with most traveling independently (FIT) or as repeat visitors. The average length of stay is 6.24 days, with an average expenditure of 36,960 THB per person per trip.
For 2025, flights from Taiwan to Thailand offer a total of 2,309,141 seats, operated by eight major airlines across six key airports: Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Mae Fah Luang–Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Hat Yai. TAT aims to attract at least one million Taiwanese visitors to Thailand in 2025.
