the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), East Asia Region, joined the opening ceremony of the China (Beijing) International Medical Tourism Fair (CMTF) 2025 in Beijing. Representing Thailand, TAT delivered a welcome message to participants and presented Thailand’s strategic vision to become the Medical & Wellness Hub of Asia.

CMTF Beijing 2025, held from 13–15 November 2025, is one of the most prominent international platforms for medical and wellness tourism. The event brings together government agencies, private sector organizations, hospitals, wellness centers, and global health tourism operators to exchange knowledge and strengthen business networks in China—one of Asia’s most significant and high-potential source markets. Over three days, the fair is expected to attract more than 20,000 participants.

As part of the event, TAT led six Thai Health & Wellness operators to showcase comprehensive medical and wellness services. Participating organizations include BPK9 International Hospital, EKI-IVF Center, Gwellness, Inspire IVF, VAANAA Longevity Bang Saen, and MedPark Hospital, covering modern medicine, anti-aging, alternative therapies, and holistic health programs. Exhibitors also engaged in business negotiations with partners from across China.

TAT’s Beijing Office additionally hosted a Product Presentation under the concept “Healing is the New Luxury” to highlight Thailand’s strengths in medical and wellness tourism. The presentation emphasized Thailand’s readiness as a destination that offers “a transformative healing experience” through world-class healthcare services integrated with the country’s signature tourism highlights—Thailand’s 5 Must-Do activities.

Thailand’s presence at CMTF Beijing 2025 strengthens the country’s strategic image in Beijing and northern China, a region known for strong purchasing power. It also expands business opportunities for Thai operators while reinforcing confidence in the “Amazing Thailand” brand. This initiative further solidifies Thailand’s position as Asia’s premium destination for medical and wellness tourism, ready to welcome high-quality travelers from across China.
