Bangkok – On April 23, 2025, the Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association (TMWTA) held its 13th Annual General Meeting for the year 2024 at the meeting room of the Private Hospital Association, 10th floor, Chalermprakiat 50th Anniversary Building, Bangkapi Sub-district, Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Prapa Wongphaet, M.D. President of the Association.

Bangkok – On April 23, 2025, the Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association (TMWTA) held its 13th Annual General Meeting for the year 2024 at the meeting room of the Private Hospital Association, 10th floor, Chalermprakiat 50th Anniversary Building, Bangkapi Sub-district, Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Prapa Wongphaet, M.D. President of the Association.

This meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, both on-site and online, and welcomed representatives from 78 partner organizations across the country. The high level of participation reflected the Association’s crucial role as a central driving force behind Thailand’s health and wellness tourism industry.
Before proceeding with the meeting agenda, members had the honor of attending a special lecture by Namon Promnara, Lecturer in the Department of Digital Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration, Bangkok University, on the topic of
"Digital Marketing & AI for Healthcare & Wellness Management."
The lecture offered new perspectives on leveraging technology and marketing strategies to enhance the efficiency and modernity of healthcare and wellness businesses.

The official meeting session commenced at 2:00 PM, covering key agenda items such as:
- Announcements by the President
- Approval of the 12th Annual General Meeting Minutes
- Operational performance report from May to December 2024
- Review and approval of the annual financial statements
- Appointment of the auditor and consideration of other matters related to the organization's development strategy
The meeting atmosphere was constructive, with active exchanges of ideas and proposals from representatives of various organizations. These discussions aimed to collaboratively drive strategic plans for the future of Thailand’s medical and wellness tourism industry, in alignment with the dynamic changes of the modern world.
This meeting marked an important milestone, reaffirming TMWTA’s role as a key entity connecting the healthcare, wellness, and tourism sectors efficiently, while striving toward international standards and the sustainable development of Thailand’s industry.
