• Color Doppler Ultrasound: This non-invasive test helps evaluate blood flow through blood vessels by bouncing high-frequency sound waves off circulating red blood cells. It aids in detecting vascular abnormalities such as plaque buildups and blockages. 

• Computed Tomography Angiography (CT angiography): This imaging technique uses X-rays to provide detailed pictures of blood vessels throughout the body, helping identify narrowed or blocked areas. 

• Tissue oxygen saturation (StO2) assessment: We use this assessment to aid in the treatment planning of chronic ulcers or non-healing wounds caused by PAD. 

Our center offers minimally invasive vascular procedures and advanced interventions: 

• Minimally Invasive Vascular Procedures: We employ minimally invasive techniques using specially designed catheters to treat vein and artery diseases. For example, balloon angioplasty is performed by threading a catheter with a small balloon through a blood vessel to the affected or blocked artery. The balloon is then inflated to reopen the artery, improve blood flow, and address blockages. 

• Advanced Vascular Intervention: This includes radiofrequency ablation, a minimally invasive procedure used to treat varicose veins. It involves the use of a catheter electrode to deliver high-frequency radiofrequency current, causing venous spasm, collagen shrinkage, and physical contraction.
