Before our Helios treatment, the face must be thoroughly cleansed and all cosmetics must be removed. An anesthetic may be administered approximately one hour before a tattoo session. During the treatment, you may experience a warm or hot sensation in certain areas, as well as a sensation similar to an elastic band snapping against your skin. The number of sessions required to treat a pigmentation or tattoo depends on its depth and severity. Some cases may only require a single session, while others may necessitate multiple sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Sessions for tattoo removal are typically spaced 6-8 weeks apart, depending on the color and duration of the tattoo. You may experience mild redness following the treatment, which typically subsides within one to two hours. The color of freckles may initially darken for approximately six months before fading progressively. In the case of tattoos, scabs may form and last between one and two weeks.
