Thread Lift
A thread lift is a cosmetic surgery technique that tightens and rejuvenates drooping face skin around the cheekbones, jawline, and neck. A thread lift is a less invasive alternative to a facelift that can revitalize the face without the accompanying dangers and recovery time. The technique includes putting threads into the soft tissue of the face, which are subsequently pulled tight to lift and support sagging skin and underlying muscle. It cannot provide the same results as a complete facelift, but it is a viable choice for a more subtle renewal. When the threads gradually disintegrate, the skin begins to create more collagen and elastin, resulting in a longer-lasting effect. Because the threads are introduced through a microscopic skin incision, there is no scarring following therapy.
The best lift results are observed approximately six weeks following the treatment, and depending on the type of threads used, they can last up to one year.
