At Tao Garden Health Spa & Resort, our Physical Therapy Assessment & Treatment focuses on assisting you in achieving optimal physical health through a variety of therapeutic techniques. Our skilled clinicians employ a variety of modalities to treat muscle and joint pain, inflammation, and spinal misalignments, thereby providing effective relief and promoting overall healing.

Therapeutic Ultrasound for Muscle and Joint Pain

Ultrasound therapy is a noninvasive treatment that employs high or low-frequency sound pulses to target and relax muscle spasms and tightness. By transmitting these sound waves to the surrounding myofascial tissues, ultrasound therapy increases blood flow, decreases inflammation, and relieves pain in the affected area.

Cold Laser Treatment

Cold laser therapy is a treatment that aids in reducing inflammation in the affected area. It employs low-level laser light to penetrate the epidermis and stimulate cellular regeneration and repair, thereby promoting natural healing and relieving pain.

The Dorn Method and Massage

The Dorn Method emphasizes on correcting unequal leg length, a common condition that affects many people. This disparity may result in a contorted pelvis and an asymmetrical, crooked, or displaced spinal column. The Dorn Method realigns bones and relieves tension through the use of moderate motion and muscle relaxation. Dorn Massage, also referred to as Breuss Massage, is a gentle spinal massage that complements Dorn Therapy by further stretching the vertebrae and energizing the healing process.

Back Traction

Lumbar traction is a therapeutic technique that relieves back discomfort by stretching and mobilizing the spine. This therapy decompresses the spine, relieves pressure on the nerves, and promotes spinal alignment and flexibility by administering controlled traction to the lumbar region.
