Chin Surgery

Chin surgery, also known as mentoplasty or genioplasty, is a surgical procedure to reshape the chin either by enhancement with an implant or reduction surgery on the bone. The procedure can result in significant changes to your appearance and enhance your self-confidence.

The benefits of this approach include less operating time, less downtime due to swelling, and a reduced chance of the implant twisting or becoming misshapen. 

• Intramural Approach: In this method, an incision is made inside the mouth along the lower gum line and lower lip. The silicone chin implant is then inserted through this incision. This approach has the benefit of no visible scarring on the skin, making it an ideal choice for individuals prone to keloid formation. 

Results: Results are visible immediately after the procedure. The final shape of the chin will become apparent around 3-6 months after the procedure. Chin surgery can solve a variety of facial shape issues and significantly improve one's appearance.
