Occupational (Mobile Medical) Medicine Center

The Mobile Medical Unit, also known as the Vichaivej Health and Occupational Medicine Center, is dedicated to providing healthcare services to working individuals. The unit focuses on disease prevention, treatment, and recovery, with a specific emphasis on the health of workers. The team consists of occupational medicine specialists, interdisciplinary physicians, occupational health nursing teams, and medical personnel with expertise and experience in occupational health. 

The objectives of the Mobile Medical Unit include: 

• Protection: Ensuring the health and safety of working individuals through disease prevention and health promotion. 

• Treatment: Providing medical care and treatment for work-related illnesses and injuries. 

• Recovery: Assisting in the recovery and rehabilitation of workers who have suffered from occupational diseases or injuries. 

• Referral: Referring patients to relevant specialists for further treatment when necessary. 

The Mobile Medical Unit offers a range of services, including: 

• Pre-employment health checks to assess the readiness of individuals for work. 

• Annual health check-ups for employees to monitor their health status. 

• Health check-ups for job seekers who are planning to work abroad. 

• Health checks for foreign workers to renew their work permits. 

• Vaccination services to protect against work-related diseases. 

• Education and training on occupational health, industrial hygiene, work safety, first aid, and basic health practices. 

The services provided by the Mobile Medical Unit may vary depending on the location and specific needs of the workforce. The unit is equipped with modern medical equipment that meets the standards set by the Hospital Accreditation (HA) and is certified by the Council of Medical Technology. Services offered may include measuring blood pressure, conducting physical examinations, performing X-rays, electrocardiograms (EKGs), hearing tests, lung function tests, and eye examinations. 

The Mobile Medical Unit operates both within the hospital premises and through mobile vehicles. The unit has dedicated service rooms and analysis rooms for conducting various tests and examinations. The mobile vehicles are equipped to provide services such as registering patients, measuring height and weight, taking medical histories, conducting venipuncture for blood tests, performing lung function tests, and offering eye examinations.
