This year, livability played a crucial role in determining the rankings, emphasizing factors that make a city feel like home—safety, happiness, and a sense of belonging.
Bangkok excelled in happiness, with residents expressing contentment with their daily experiences. The city also stood out for affordability, with 84% of respondents stating that activities like dining out, enjoying coffee, or watching movies were reasonably priced and accessible. Additionally, 86% rated Bangkok's food as "good" or "excellent."

Bangkok’s cultural heritage is another highlight, with intricate and awe-inspiring temples like Wat Arun, Wat Ratchabophit, and the Grand Palace reflecting the city’s rich history and artistry.
