Bangphai Hospital

The history of Bang Phai Hospital dates back to its establishment on May 5, 1974. It was founded by Associate Professor Dr. Chieb Nirundorn with the intention of providing healthcare services to the people of Thonburi, which is located on the western bank of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand. The hospital was envisioned as the first private hospital on the Thonburi side. 

Initially, Bang Phai Hospital was situated on a durian garden area of approximately 3 rai (4,800 square meters) along Petchkasem Road, near Tha Phra intersection. The first building of the hospital was a single-story structure with a capacity of 10 beds. However, in 1977, the hospital underwent expansion with the opening of a six-story inpatient building, increasing its capacity to 100 beds. This expansion allowed Bang Phai Hospital to accommodate more patients and provide a wider range of medical services. 

In 2005, in order to enhance outpatient services and meet higher standards of healthcare delivery, a new five-story outpatient service building was initiated to replace the original structure. This new building was scheduled to open for service on August 8, 2008, and received royal grace from Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana, who permitted the hospital to bear her name. The building was named "Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra Hospital" in honor of Princess Galyani Vadhana's 84th birthday. 

Bang Phai Hospital operates as a comprehensive healthcare facility, offering treatment services to both outpatients and inpatients, as well as providing emergency care to accident victims on a 24-hour basis. The hospital has a team of specialized doctors and medical personnel covering various fields of medicine, ensuring comprehensive and quality healthcare services.
