ArokaGO Star Awards - 5th Edition for Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism

The Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association (TMWTA), in collaboration with the ArokaGO platform, hosted the 5th ArokaGO Star Awards on November 30, 2024, at the Phra Siwa Conference Hall, Asawin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok. The event began with a lecture titled “Introduction to Lifestyle Medicine and Wellbeing” presented to hospital and clinic executives as well as medical personnel by Capt.(Ret.)Yongyuth Mayalarp,(MD) President of the Thai Lifestyle Medicine and Wellbeing Association (TLWA).

In his presentation, Capt.(Ret.)Yongyuth Mayalarp,(MD) emphasized the importance of Developing Strategies to Manage Stress and Forming and Maintaining Relationships. He also discussed the distinction between Empathy vs. Sympathy.

Following the lecture, Dr. med. Prapa Wongphaet, President of the Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association and the chair of the awards ceremony, presented the ArokaGO Star Awards to 14 medical, public health, and wellness service providers (hospitals and clinics), including:

The awards were determined based on Service Quality, Customer Experience, and Sustainable Business Processes. Special guests, Mr. Jirayu Jabbang and Ms. Phornpat Nilaphat, former MCOT news anchors, announced the names of the awarded facilities and businesses.
