
Beijing,(Xinhua) – On Friday (Feb. 14), the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine revealed that over 99.6% of China's community and township-level healthcare centers provide Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) services. Currently, there are approximately 42,000 TCM clinics operating within primary healthcare facilities across the country.
Beijing, (Xinhua) – On Friday (Feb. 14), the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine revealed that over 99.6% of China's community and township-level healthcare centers provide Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) services. Currently, there are approximately 42,000 TCM clinics operating within primary healthcare facilities across the country.
The administration stated that China has made significant progress in developing appropriate TCM-related skills, with the percentage of community and township-level healthcare centers equipped with such expertise expected to reach 98%.
According to Xing Chao, an official from the administration, China has continuously improved the accessibility, equity, and sustainability of grassroots TCM services through targeted, comprehensive, and effectively implemented measures aimed at enhancing TCM clinics.
