Gap Teeth, Protruding Teeth, Crooked Teeth - Fixable with Orthodontics

Beauty triumphs over everything. We can solve the problems of gaps between teeth, protruding teeth, and misalignment through “orthodontic treatment.”

Good oral health and a beautiful smile go hand in hand. Orthodontic treatment is a dental procedure that helps address problems for those who have abnormalities in tooth alignment, tooth overcrowding, protruding teeth, and issues related to tooth size and jaw. Orthodontic treatment can help move teeth to their correct and appropriate positions, improve alignment, enhance chewing efficiency, improve oral and dental health, and reduce problems such as tooth decay or gum diseases resulting from inadequate teeth cleaning. Additionally, orthodontic treatment helps boost self-confidence and improve personal appearance.

How do you know if you need orthodontic treatment?

- You have significant protrusion of upper or lower teeth.
- You have overlapping teeth.
- You have a crossbite or an underbite where the lower teeth bite in front of the upper teeth.
- You have gaps between teeth.
- You have a misaligned bite where the upper and lower teeth do not align properly.
- You have open bite, where there is a gap between the upper and lower teeth when you bite.

The most popular method is braces.

Typically, orthodontic treatment can be done with either removable or fixed braces. The most common choice for many people is fixed braces because they are not overly expensive. In this type of orthodontic treatment, special adhesive brackets are placed on each tooth to serve as anchor points for the orthodontic wires. The wires apply pressure on the teeth, encouraging them to move in the desired direction. As the wires are tightened, the force increases, gradually moving the teeth to their appropriate positions. The treatment duration for braces can range from 1 to 3 years.

Hives (Urticaria): Causes, Treatment & Self-Care Tips

Urticaria (Hives) What are hives (urticaria)? Hives are a skin condition characterized by raised, red, non-scaly welts of variable size that itch and can appear anywhere on the body. They often arise suddenly and fade on their own within 24 hours, usually leaving no marks, though new wheals may recur. If episodes come and go for less than 6 weeks, this is acute urticaria. If they persist beyond 6 weeks, this is chronic urticaria.
