What is FUE hair transplant? Why is this technique commonly used for hair transplantation?

What is FUE hair transplant? Why is this technique commonly used for hair transplantation?

Currently, hair transplantation is considered an option and a solution for many people affected by hair loss, regardless of the cause. In reality, there are still many methods available for hair transplantation that can help treat hair loss, thinning hair, or even baldness. One of these methods is called "FUE (Follicular Unit Excision)."

What is FUE hair transplantation?

FUE or Follicular Unit Excision is a method of hair transplantation that does not require cutting the scalp. It uses tools sized 0.8 - 1.0 mm. Drill hair follicles one by one, deep into the hair root cells, then use fine-tipped tweezers to pull the hair root cells out of the scalp, avoiding long linear scars. Hair can be transplanted from the scalp, mustache, or body hair to the problematic areas, and it is less painful with faster healing compared to FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) hair transplant surgery.

Why is FUE the most commonly used technique for hair transplantation?

The reason why FUE is the most commonly used technique is that the FUE procedure involves extracting hair follicles from the back and sides of the head for transplantation. This technique leaves only small scattered scars around the head and does not leave visible stitches or linear scars. The scars are not easily visible to the naked eye. It is a highly popular technique, especially among middle-aged men and women who have issues with hair loss or thinning in specific areas. Additionally, the transplanted area recovers the fastest with this method, unlike FUT, which is a surgical technique that uses a larger area for transplantation, resulting in a longer recovery time. Importantly, hair transplantation with FUE is not as painful as one might think. With its advantages and ability to meet the needs of people today, this is why FUE is always a top choice for people whenever they have the opportunity to choose.

Ultimately, regardless of the technique used for hair transplantation, whether FUE or FUT, the most crucial variable for success or achieving the desired results remains the experience and expertise of the doctor you choose. If you make the wrong choice, correcting it can also be difficult. Therefore, deciding on the right doctor is an important consideration that should be made carefully.

How many hair grafts are needed for a beard and mustache transplant?

Most beard and mustache transplants primarily use scalp hair for the procedure. If you have researched hair transplantation before, you may know that before using scalp hair for transplantation, the doctor must first assess each patient's type of hair loss and determine the appropriate number of grafts. The same applies to beard and mustache transplantation. The doctor will conduct an assessment before the procedure. On average, beard and mustache transplantation uses about 2,000 grafts.

Early Symptoms of Leukemia and Next Steps to Take

Treatment Approaches for Cervical Cancer and Life After Treatment

Current treatment options for cervical cancer are diverse and are determined by the stage of the disease and the patient’s overall health. Primary treatments include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, brachytherapy, and a combination of these methods, such as concurrent chemoradiation. The goal of these treatments is to eradicate the cancer, prevent its spread to other organs, and improve the patient’s quality of life.
