Heart Center

The Heart Center at Bangpakok 9 International Hospital specializes in providing comprehensive cardiac care for both pediatric and adult patients. The center is staffed with a team of cardiologists, pediatric cardiologists, chest surgeons, and experienced nurses who are dedicated to caring for cardiac patients 24 hours a day. The center is equipped with modern medical equipment to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. 

The services offered at the Heart Center include: 

• Electrocardiogram (EKG 12 lead): This test records the electrical activity of the heart and helps in diagnosing various heart conditions. 

• Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) Examination: ABI is a non-invasive test used to assess blood flow and detect peripheral artery disease. 

• Exercise Stress Test (EST): This test evaluates the heart's response to exercise by monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, and EKG while the patient exercises on a treadmill or stationary bike. 

• 24-Hours Holter Monitoring: A portable device records the heart's activity for 24 hours, providing continuous monitoring to detect any irregularities or abnormalities. 

• Tilt Table Test: This test helps in diagnosing conditions related to blood pressure and heart rate changes when the patient changes positions. 

• Echocardiography: The center offers various types of echocardiography, including transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), to evaluate the structure and function of the heart using ultrasound technology. 

• Stress Echocardiography: This test combines echocardiography with exercise or medication to assess the heart's function under stress conditions. 

• Coronary Angiography (CAG): This procedure involves injecting a contrast dye into the blood vessels to visualize the coronary arteries and assess blood flow. 

• Cardiac Catheterization: A minimally invasive procedure to diagnose and treat heart conditions by inserting a catheter into the blood vessels to access the heart. 

• CTA Coronary: A non-invasive imaging test that uses computed tomography to visualize the coronary arteries and assess their condition. 

• Cardiac MRI: This advanced imaging technique uses magnetic resonance imaging to provide detailed images of the heart's structure and function. 

The Heart Center operates from 08:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m. every day, including weekends.  

It is located on the 3rd floor of Bangpakok 9 International Hospital.
