Eye Center

The Eye Center at Bangpakok 9 International Hospital offers a wide range of care and treatment services for various eye conditions. The center is staffed with a team of ophthalmologists who specialize in eye care and provide comprehensive services, including examinations, treatments, diagnoses, and disease prevention. They utilize modern equipment for accurate diagnosis and advanced treatment options. 

The services provided at the Eye Center include: 

• Complete Optometric Services: The center offers comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments to evaluate and address various eye conditions. 

• Diabetic Retinopathy Treatment by Intravitreal Injection: Specialized treatment is available for diabetic retinopathy, a condition that affects the blood vessels in the retina, through intravitreal injections. 

• Pediatric Ophthalmology: The center provides specialized care for children's eye health, including pediatric eye examinations and treatment. 

• Pediatric Vision Screening and Lazy Eye: Services are offered for pediatric vision screening and the treatment of lazy eye, also known as amblyopia. 

• Eye Muscle Surgery for Children and Adults: The center performs eye muscle surgeries to correct eye misalignment, both in children and adults. 

• Tear Ducts Correction & Surgery: Treatment options are available for tear duct abnormalities, including correction and surgical interventions. 

• Phacoemulsification with Intraocular Lens Implant: The center offers phacoemulsification surgery with the implantation of intraocular lenses for patients with cataracts. 

• Glaucoma Surgery: Surgical interventions are provided for glaucoma, a condition characterized by increased pressure within the eye. 

• Yag Capsulotomy (for post-cataract surgery): Yag capsulotomy, a laser procedure, is performed to treat posterior capsule opacification after cataract surgery. 

• Pan-Retinal Photocoagulation (PRP): This laser treatment is utilized for conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and other retinal diseases. 

• Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT): The center uses optical coherence tomography, an imaging technique, for detailed evaluation and diagnosis of various eye conditions. 

• Intravitreal Injection for Central Serous Chorioretinopathy: Specialized injections are administered to treat central serous chorioretinopathy, a condition affecting the retina. 

• Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) Treatment: The center provides treatment options for age-related macular degeneration, a progressive eye disease affecting the macula. 

In addition to the above services, the Eye Center also offers a range of diagnostic services, including fully equipped eye examination rooms, automated perimetry, computerized vision assessors, fundus photography, intraocular pressure measurement, keratometry, and laser treatments for retinopathy and glaucoma. 

The Eye Center operates from 08:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m. every day, including weekends. 

It is located on the 2nd floor of Bangpakok 9 International Hospital. 

The Eye Center at Bangpakok 9 International Hospital offers comprehensive eye care, including exams, diabetic retinopathy treatment, pediatric ophthalmology, cataract and glaucoma surgeries, and treatments for AMD and lazy eye. Equipped with modern diagnostics, it operates daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the 2nd floor.
