Ear, Nose, and Throat Center

The Ear, Nose, and Throat Center at Bangpakok 9 International Hospital is a specialized department that focuses on providing comprehensive care for conditions related to the ear, nose, and throat. The center consists of a team of highly skilled and experienced surgeons who specialize in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders. They have published research papers and patented works both nationally and internationally, showcasing their expertise and contributions to the field. 

The Ear and Hearing Center within the department offers holistic treatment for various hearing problems, including issues related to body balance hearing cranial nerves and facial nerves. They conduct diagnostic tests such as Otoacoustic Emission (OAE) and Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) to assess hearing abilities, including specialized testing for newborns. The center provides a range of services, including surgeries for the outer, middle, and inner ear, as well as procedures like Partial Ossicular Replacement Prosthesis (PORP), Total Ossicular Replacement Prosthesis (TORP), and cochlear implantations. 

The Nose and Anosmia Clinic focuses on the assessment and treatment of nasal functional and structural issues, as well as problems related to breathing and smelling. They address conditions such as colds, nasal congestion, sinusitis, nosebleeds, nasal polyps, and rhinitis. Diagnostic procedures available at the clinic include anterior and posterior nasopharynx examination, rigid or fiber optic nasal endoscopy, nasal airflow measurement, and olfactory tests. They also perform surgeries for nasal polyps and hemorrhoids and offer treatment for sinusitis. 

The Head and Neck Center provides examination and treatment services for various head and neck diseases and disorders. This includes infections, lumps, and malignant tumors. The center offers assessments for neck infections, upper airway evaluation, tracheostomy decannulation, and uses procedures like rigid and fiberoptic laryngoscopy. They perform surgical procedures to remove lesions or treat conditions related to the thyroid, salivary glands, mouth, tonsils, adenoids, larynx, and trachea. 

The Voice and Swallowing Center specializes in diagnosing and treating speech problems and swallowing difficulties. They address issues such as hoarseness, congenital mutism, and speech problems resulting from extensive voice use, respiratory equipment usage, or previous surgeries. The center also offers solutions for swallowing complaints, including choking, pain, and severe illnesses that can lead to complications like lung infections and pneumonia. Diagnostic procedures include telescopic laryngoscopy and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of vocal fold motions and swallowing. Treatment options range from phonosurgery and surgery for arytenoid dislocation to rehabilitation for patients with swallowing difficulties. 

The Ear, Nose, and Throat Center operates from 08:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m. every day, including weekends.  

It is located on the 2nd floor of Bangpakok 9 International Hospital.
