Which type of LASIK should be chosen

Choosing which LASIK method, each patient must undergo detailed vision measurement and corneal evaluation before deciding to undergo LASIK. Some cases can choose multiple techniques, while some cases may be suitable for only certain methods. The most important thing is to undergo eye evaluation with an ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and refractive surgery to choose the most suitable treatment method for oneself

Who can undergo LASIK

• Must be a patient aged more than 18 years and have stable refractive error with change not more than 50 (0.5D) for at least 1 year

• Not during pregnancy or breastfeeding

• No corneal diseases such as keratoconus, severe dry eye, or other eye diseases such as retinal detachment

• No other severe underlying diseases such as uncontrolled diabetes or severe allergies

LASIK Service Process

1. Detailed vision and eye health analysis

Detailed evaluation of refractive error, vision measurement, intraocular pressure measurement, retinal examination, measurement of anterior and posterior corneal curvature, measurement of corneal thickness to assess suitability for LASIK

2. Treatment planning by ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and refractive surgery

The ophthalmologist will consider and recommend the treatment method suitable for individual eye condition

3. LASIK procedure

Adjust corneal curvature with different methods in each technique within the hospital’s standard operating room

4. Recovery and follow-up

After LASIK, hospitalization is not required, can return home on the same day, and there will be follow-up appointments to continuously evaluate vision
