The event is held in remembrance and gratitude for the boundless grace and benevolence of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, who has been revered as the “Mother of the Land” for her lifelong devotion to the well-being of the Thai people through her tireless works in natural resource conservation, environmental protection, Thai arts, and traditional craftsmanship.
This year’s celebration aims to create an atmosphere of reverence, remembrance, and reflection—honoring Her Majesty’s lifelong dedication and inspiration for the Thai people to live with sufficiency, gratitude, and love for their nation.
With profound reverence for Her Majesty’s legacy, Vijit CHAO PHRAYA 2025 – The Light of Siam, The Mother of the Nation will illuminate the Chao Phraya River with breathtaking displays of light, sound, and art—transforming Bangkok into a shimmering symbol of loyalty and unity.
