Bangkok, Thailand — November 11, 2025The Faculty of Communication Arts, Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU), Bangkok, Thailand in collaboration with ArokaGO, organized the “Medical & Wellness VDO Content Creation Challenge” on November 11, 2025, at the Dr. Sawai Suthipitak Memorial Auditorium.
The initiative aims to bring real business challenges into the classroom — inviting communication students from the Digital Content Creation and Media Program to develop promotional videos for ArokaGO (www.arokago.com), Thailand’s premier medical and wellness tourism platform.
The event featured presentations by student teams before a distinguished panel of judges from both academia and the health-tech industry, including:
   •    Dr. Sirichai Chaisuthamporn, Co-Founder and Board Member, ArokaGO
   •    Asst. Prof. Sivanart Hongprayoon, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Arts, DPU
   •    Asst. Prof. Dr. Kulabutr Komenkul, Lecturer in Finance, Investment, and Financial Technology, CIBA–DPU; Co-Founder of ArokaGO; and Executive Board Member of the Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association (TMWTA)
   •    Mr. Chanapat Panomvan Na Ayuthaya, Lecturer, Digital Content Creation and Media Program, DPU
with Asst. Prof. Worapong Plodmusik, Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Head of the Digital Marketing Communication Program, serving as both moderator and co-judge.

Wellness: Not the Future — It’s Now
Asst. Prof. Sivanart Hongprayoon highlighted that the collaboration is a valuable opportunity for students to engage with real entrepreneurs and premium-level projects.
“Wellness is not the future — it’s already happening now. This industry has enormous potential for growth, especially in producing well-researched, high-quality health content,” he said.
he emphasized that working directly with a startup backed by NIA (National Innovation Agency) and TedFund (Technology and Innovation-based Enterprise Development Fund) provides students with an exceptional credential and hands-on learning experience.
“The chance to work with a real brand supported by NIA and TedFund gives students professional credibility that will serve them throughout their careers,” he added.
Despite the three-week time limit, she praised many of the projects for their creativity and production quality while encouraging students to deepen their understanding of the platform and ensure factual accuracy — crucial in health communication.

Learning Beyond the Classroom
Students shared that the experience challenged them to think more like professionals — from lighting and sound control to managing intellectual property and content compliance.
“We learned that even small details such as light positioning or background sound can affect credibility,” one participant shared. “More importantly, health content must always stay within legal and ethical boundaries.”

ArokaGO: The “Yellow Pages” of Certified Healthcare
Dr. Sirichai Chaisuthamporn explained that ArokaGO acts as the “Yellow Pages of Healthcare Services”, using AI technology to match users with trusted providers based on their needs.
“Unlike general search engines, ArokaGO features only Certified Providers who meet strict quality and safety standards — ensuring confidence even for small clinics aiming for international patients,” he said.
Dr. Sirichai also revealed upcoming platform features, including an expert-led community forum where verified doctors will respond to health-related questions directly — creating a credible, trusted space for wellness seekers.

Merging Health, Tech, and Storytelling
Asst. Prof. Dr. Kulabutr Komenkul commented that the challenge was highly complex as it required integrating medical knowledge, technology, and high-end marketing communication.
“It’s not an easy task for communication students — they had to translate medical and technological ideas into creative and credible storytelling,” he noted. “That’s the beauty of this challenge.”
He also reminded students to follow Thailand’s Department of Health Service Support (HSS), Ministry of Public Health of Thailand regulations regarding advertising language, especially avoiding prohibited claims. “Understanding not only your audience but your client’s customer — that’s the next level of professional communication,” he emphasized.

Empowering Future Communicators
This collaboration between DPU and ArokaGO represents a model for experiential learning — where academia meets real industry problems.
Through this challenge, students not only developed creative portfolios but also gained a deeper understanding of production management, ethical communication, and the emerging Medical & Wellness Tourism industry — one of Thailand’s most promising economic frontiers.
