Description

The Thai Traditional Medical Innovation Center (TTMIC) is committed to integrating the principles of traditional Thai medicine into contemporary healthcare practices. TTMIC seeks to provide personalized care and monitor treatment outcomes by evaluating the equilibrium of the four elements (earth, water, wind, and fire) within the body using technology. The center uses a three-coordinated detector (TM fow) to evaluate results, which can be evaluated every three months, six months, or one year. Individuals can modify their behavior and receive advice on self-care, including the use of specific foods, water, and botanicals, based on these results.

TTMIC, located on the second floor of the Museum and Thai Traditional Medicine Training Center building within the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, Ministry of Public Health, functions as a center for innovation, research, and treatment based on the principles of Thai traditional medicine. The center's use of medical technology improves treatment efficacy and enables international-standard analysis and monitoring.

In addition, a portion of the center is devoted to the display and sale of Thai botanical products to both domestic and foreign visitors. The Thai Herbal Pavilion seeks to promote Thai herbal products and assist local SME groups, community enterprises, and villagers. By showcasing these products, TTMIC hopes to increase their domestic and international recognition and popularity.

TTMIC's mission includes promoting holistic health care based on Thai traditional medicine principles, boosting the immune system, and preserving the body's equilibrium. By utilizing Thai traditional medicine treatments and herbs, TTMIC seeks to reduce the burden on hospitals and modern medicine, effectively managing hundreds of patients per day.

In addition, TTMIC uses its location within the Ministry of Public Health to become a prominent center for displaying Thai products from a variety of sources, including SME groups, community enterprises, and villagers. This initiative promotes local enterprises and increases their domestic and international visibility.

TTMIC also advocates the "Food as Medicine Program" by advocating for the use of herbs in healthy herbal menus to enhance immunity. This program is based on Dr. Pennapha Subcharoen's anti-disease food theory and aims to increase awareness and adoption of these practices locally and internationally.
