Bangkok, Thailand – PYONG Rehabilitation Group, led by Dr. Kantaphong Thongrong (Dr. Pyong), has officially launched its new flagship facility, PYONG Rehabilitation Center Ratchaprasong, on the 11th floor of Gaysorn Tower in the heart of Bangkok’s Ratchaprasong district. The new center represents a significant investment in advanced rehabilitation medicine and reflects Thailand’s growing role as a destination for medical and wellness tourism.

Covering more than 650 square meters, the flagship facility integrates eight specialized medical centers dedicated to rehabilitation medicine, preventive healthcare, neurological recovery, sports medicine, and personalized wellness programs. The center aims to provide comprehensive care for both Thai and international patients seeking evidence-based rehabilitation and long-term health management.

The opening comes at a time when global healthcare is shifting beyond disease treatment toward prevention, recovery, functional restoration, and quality of life. PYONG Rehabilitation Group seeks to bridge hospital-level medical rehabilitation with a patient-centered experience designed for modern lifestyles.

The center incorporates advanced rehabilitation technologies, including robotic gait training systems, brain and neuromuscular stimulation technologies, and biometric assessment tools to evaluate physical performance and monitor recovery progress. These technologies support personalized rehabilitation planning based on measurable medical outcomes.

Its eight specialty centers provide services across multiple disciplines, including pain management, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports medicine, preventive health assessment, neurological rehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and cognitive impairment, as well as specialized programs for men’s and women’s health, hormone management, fertility support, pelvic health, and post-treatment recovery.

According to Dr. Kantaphong Thongrong, the organization is developing a new segment of Advanced Medical Rehabilitation, combining hospital-grade medical precision with personalized care and modern rehabilitation technologies.

Rather than functioning as a conventional wellness center or physical therapy clinic, the facility emphasizes multidisciplinary rehabilitation supported by objective medical assessment and continuous outcome monitoring.

The flagship center has also been designed to create a welcoming environment that resembles a premium hospitality setting rather than a traditional hospital. The concept reflects the belief that recovery and long-term health management should take place in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.

The project represents an investment approaching 100 million baht, with significant resources allocated to advanced rehabilitation technologies, regenerative medicine innovations, robotic rehabilitation systems, and neuroplasticity-focused therapeutic solutions, alongside the development of a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Currently, most patients are Thai nationals, but the center has experienced growing demand from international visitors, particularly from the Middle East, CLMV countries, Europe, and the United States. This trend reflects Thailand’s increasing attractiveness as a destination for rehabilitation medicine and integrated healthcare services.

Dr. Kantaphong emphasized that one of the organization’s long-term missions is to elevate rehabilitation medicine in Thailand and demonstrate that many patients can improve their functional outcomes through appropriate rehabilitation programs, advanced technology, and active patient participation.

Looking ahead, PYONG Rehabilitation Group aims to develop the new flagship center into one of Asia’s leading rehabilitation medicine institutions while contributing to Thailand’s ambition of becoming a globally recognized Medical & Wellness Tourism Hub, where treatment, recovery, and wellness are seamlessly integrated into one comprehensive healthcare journey.
