Emergency Department
The Emergency Department at AEK UDON International Hospital provides 24-hour emergency medical care for patients with urgent and critical conditions. The department is supported by specialist doctors and an emergency care team who are ready to provide immediate assistance both inside and outside the hospital.
The department is equipped with 6 examination rooms and 4 observation beds, with readiness to support mass casualty situations. It also operates 2 ambulances fully equipped with modern life-saving tools and medical equipment. The hospital also has a helicopter landing area on the rooftop, supporting emergency transfer and rapid medical response when needed.
Scope of Services
Emergency and Accident Care
The department provides diagnosis and treatment for emergency and accident patients across urgent and critical conditions. Services include emergency resuscitation procedures, immediate medical assessment, and guidance for patients and families on warning signs that require returning to the hospital.
Surgical, Orthopedic, and Spine Conditions
The department also provides care for patients with surgical, orthopedic, and spine-related conditions. Services include diagnosis, treatment, consultation, minor procedures, follow-up appointments, and continuous wound care for patients who require ongoing treatment.
Short-Term Observation
For patients who need close monitoring, the department provides observation care for up to 4 hours to assess symptoms and determine whether further treatment, admission, or discharge is appropriate.
After-Hours General Medical Care
The department also provides general medical diagnosis and treatment after the Outpatient Department is closed, from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, ensuring that patients can access medical care at any time.
