Inpatient Department
The Inpatient Department at AEK UDON International Hospital provides hospital admission services for patients who require continuous medical care, nursing support, observation, and recovery within the hospital. The department is designed to offer comfortable inpatient rooms, professional nursing care, and coordinated treatment planning for patients across a wide range of medical conditions.
The inpatient service is available across three hospital floors with a variety of room types, including Royal Suite, VIP1-Premier Suite, VIP2, and VIP3 rooms. The 5th floor consists of 22 rooms and is connected to a spacious garden area and the newborn department. The 6th and 7th floors each provide 27 rooms, offering additional accommodation options for admitted patients.
Scope of Services
The department provides inpatient care for patients aged 1 month and above, covering major medical specialties such as obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, internal medicine, and pediatrics. The service supports patients with a wide range of diseases and conditions, except psychiatric cases and chemotherapy patients.
Care includes patient assessment, treatment planning, nursing care, discharge planning, health promotion, complication prevention, and recovery support. The department works together with a multidisciplinary team to help patients recover from illness, relieve physical, mental, and social
distress, and support patients in returning to their normal daily lives as much as possible.
Patient and Family Support
The Inpatient Department provides education and guidance for patients and families, including information about the disease, treatment plan, investigations, nursing care, disease prevention, and home care after discharge. Family members are also involved in decision-making and discharge planning to support continuous care after the patient leaves the hospital.
