The Laboratory Department at AEK UDON International Hospital provides clinical laboratory testing services using modern diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate, reliable, timely, and professional-standard test results. The department is staffed by medical technologists 24 hours a day, supporting outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and health check-up services.
The department is committed to delivering high-quality laboratory analysis that supports doctors in diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient monitoring. It also provides safe and sufficient blood supply support for patients who require blood products.
Quality Standards
AEK UDON’s Laboratory Department has been certified for its capability to conduct health examinations for workers traveling overseas according to the standards of the Department of Medical Sciences. The department has also received Laboratory Accreditation (LA) for medical laboratories from the Medical Technology Council, reflecting its commitment to quality, safety, and professional laboratory standards.
Scope of Services
For outpatients and general patients, specimens are collected at the blood collection room on the 2nd floor according to the doctor’s request and then sent for analysis at the laboratory on the 3rd floor.
For inpatients and emergency patients, specimens and laboratory request forms are received, checked, and processed immediately to support urgent medical care and timely clinical decisions.
For general health check-ups and overseas employment health examinations, specimens are collected based on the selected health check-up program and analyzed promptly by the laboratory team.
